How You Can HelpDonate to the scholarship. We welcome donations to the Scholarship, which supports graduate students enrolling in the School of Public Health or other graduate schools at the University of Minnesota, who have indicated a commitment to working directly to improve the lives of older people. sponsoring the event. Volunteer. The Award and Scholarship Ceremony Committee
is an energetic and dedicated team of volunteers composed of Shelley’s
colleagues, family, and friends, as well as Hennepin County employees,
business and community leaders, and those with an interest in
aging-related issues. Volunteers should be passionate about issues of
aging, available for meetings 1-2 times per month, and able to make a
one-year commitment. To volunteer as a member of the planning team for
